Craftsman used a variety of different motor mounts on their belt and flex drive table saws. See the pictures and information below.

This Craftsman motor mount fits on most all Craftsman belt driven table saws in the 113.298xxx and 113.299xxx series table saws. Many of these were made by the Emerson Electric Co.

The steel dowels at the back fit into two holes that are cast into the cast iron saw carriage. It is built like a hinge so that the weight of the motor can “hang” off the back of the table saw and put tension on the V-belt.
